Kzaza Kitchen ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website www.kzaza.com (the "Service"). These Payment Terms form part of our Terms and Conditions and govern all transactions made through our Service.
1. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for all orders:
- Credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
- Digital wallets: PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay.
- Bank transfers: direct bank transfer, available upon request for bulk orders.
- Local payment methods, including Klarna, Afterpay, Alipay and WeChat Pay, depending on your market.
All payment transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers.
For B2B and wholesale customers, we may accept:
- Wire transfer / bank transfer.
- Letters of credit (L/C), subject to agreement.
- Payment upon invoice with approved credit terms.
2. Payment Timing
For retail customers (B2C):
- Full payment is required at the time of checkout before your order is processed and shipped.
- We will charge your selected payment method immediately upon order confirmation.
- Your order will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully received and cleared.
For wholesale and bulk orders (B2B):
- Payment terms are subject to agreement between both parties.
- Standard terms: 30% deposit upon order confirmation, 70% balance prior to shipment.
- Alternative terms: Net 30 (payment due 30 days after invoice date) may be available for approved wholesale accounts with established credit history.
- All B2B payment terms must be confirmed in writing prior to order placement.
3. Currency and Pricing
- All prices displayed on our website are in USD unless otherwise stated; EUR and GBP are shown as an indicative conversion.
- For cross-border transactions, your payment may be processed in your local currency. The final amount charged will be based on the exchange rate applied by your payment provider or bank at the time of transaction.
- We are not responsible for any currency conversion fees, cross-border transaction fees, or foreign exchange fees imposed by your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.
- For B2B transactions, the applicable exchange rate for multi-currency payments shall be the spot rate published by the agreed reference bank on the date of payment.
4. Pricing and Taxes
- All product prices are listed exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- For orders shipped to countries where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT, or GST, such taxes will be calculated and added at checkout.
- You are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by your country's customs authorities upon delivery.
- We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price displayed at the time of your order will be honored.
5. Order Confirmation and Payment Authorization
- By completing your purchase, you authorize us to charge the provided payment method for the total order amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.
- You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method you provide.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, unauthorized activity, or payment method issues.
- In the event of payment failure, we will notify you via email and may hold your order for up to 3 business days pending resolution.
6. Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment is declined or fails for any reason:
- We will attempt to notify you via the email address provided at checkout.
- Your order will not be processed or shipped until payment is successfully completed.
- We are not responsible for any fees or charges incurred due to insufficient funds, expired cards, or bank restrictions.
- After three failed payment attempts, your order may be cancelled automatically.
7. Late Payments (B2B Only)
For wholesale or B2B customers with approved credit terms:
- If payment is not received by the due date specified on the invoice, late payment penalties may apply.
- Late payment interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, on the outstanding balance.
- We reserve the right to suspend or cancel future orders, revoke credit terms, or take legal action to recover outstanding amounts.
- You shall be responsible for all reasonable costs and expenses, including legal fees, incurred by us in collecting any overdue amounts.
8. Refunds and Chargebacks
- Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- If you dispute a charge through your bank or payment provider (chargeback), we reserve the right to suspend your account and future orders pending investigation.
- If a chargeback is found to be invalid or fraudulent, we reserve the right to recharge your payment method for the full amount and to recover associated costs.
9. Currency Conversion and Exchange Rate Risk
For cross-border transactions involving currency conversion:
- Exchange rates fluctuate and may affect the final amount charged to your account.
- We do not guarantee any specific exchange rate.
- Any currency conversion fees imposed by your bank or payment provider are your sole responsibility.
- For B2B transactions, we recommend using forward contracts or other hedging instruments to mitigate exchange rate risk on large orders.
10. Payment Security
- We take payment security seriously. All transactions are encrypted using SSL/TLS technology.
- Our payment processing partners are PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security in the payments industry.
- We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Payment information is transmitted directly to our secure payment gateway.
- If you suspect any unauthorized activity on your payment method, please contact your bank or payment provider immediately and notify us at kzaza@kzaza.com.
11. Dispute Resolution for Payment Issues
Any disputes arising from payment transactions shall be resolved as follows:
- 1Step 1: contact our customer support team at kzaza@kzaza.com within 14 days of the transaction.
- 2Step 2: if we cannot resolve the issue directly, either party may pursue remedies in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
- 3For cross-border transactions, the governing law and jurisdiction shall be as specified in our Terms and Conditions.
